Heather Froome is an artist whose work is based on an abstract expression of her surrounding landscape and environment.
Her work focuses on the layering of translucency, texture and tone in addition to creating balance with positive and negative space which compositionally creates intrigue with an emotive quality. Her work is implied and allows for interpretation.
Living and working on the Coal Coast, nestled between the escarpment and ocean, inspiration is constant and always changing.
